Eddulaney changed Daingerfield's given name from "Elliot" to "Elliott". That's not what our lone source available online calls him. A Google Books search shows that both names are in common use, with some of the websites I found even using both simultaneously. For now ~~I have~~ Josh3580 reverted, but maybe we should provide both names, and sources for both. Huon (talk) 18:28, 25 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

That's it. All Museum websites and all auction house websites write Elliott. The painter himself has signed with Elliott Daingerfield. See also image sources and reference links at the files on Wikimedia Commons. --Trzęsacz (talk) 23:27, 12 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
