Comment: Thank you for tidying up the source notation, and I can see the submitting editor has done a lot of work on this article since August.Unfortunately I think this may have gone too far in the other direction. See WP:REFBOMB and the essay WP:THREE. Having a line of 9 references (and several of three) is unhelpful to the reader. The focus here is on good quality sources to either establish notability or to verify statements in the article, not on lots of them. It's also less important what the subject says, in terms of sourcing, more important about what other people are saying about him. In terms of notability, I am assuming the submitting editor is leaning on WP:ACADEMIC criteria number 1, if none of the other 7 applies. If so, then merely being cited isn't enough, ideally we would want a review or critique of his work. I imagine that will exist for ROSE, rather than just cited. Or perhaps a profile of his academic career by an independent source. ChrysGalley (talk) 21:20, 21 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
Comment: I can't see any sign that he passes WP:NPROF or WP:GNG Have any of his books been reviewed in reliable, independent publications (e.g. newspapers and academic journals)? If so, please add these book reviews as references. Please also see WP:REFB for instructions on converting your references from bare URLs to full citations.
