Information

[edit]

A bot warning flashed up for some of the information on this new page; it was not copied from an external website but from the Wikipedia article on Seil - alterations have been made to that article's text as well. The bot warning will therefore be removed. Brookie :) - he's in the building somewhere! (Whisper...) 11:05, 10 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

The result of this discussion was to not merge the article, as it may be possible to expand the article. JoshuaJohnLee talk softly, please 15:46, 6 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

I am proposing that Eilean-a-beithich be merged into Ellenabeich. The article at Eilean-a-beithich is quite small and does not have much potential for expansion. Given the naming of Elllenabeich for Eilean-a-beithich (see source on the article page), I believe it would be acceptable to have Eilean-a-beithich as a section on this page, possibly under a "history" section. On balance, I don't think this is helpful - one is an island and one is a village and the unusual nature of the island's history may well be expandable. Ben MacDui 09:43, 6 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

On balance I agree with Ben - don't merge, as he says, it could well be expandable and would be interesting! Brookie :) - he's in the building somewhere! (Whisper...) 10:29, 6 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
Fair enough! I'll try and find out more about it next time I'm there and see what reliable sources I can get to expand this article. I'll close the merge request when I get a few minutes. JoshuaJohnLee talk softly, please 15:11, 6 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
