Marital status

There is a contradiction in this article, which lists the subject as both the former/divorced wife of Michael Aspel and also states that she will never divorce him because of her strong Catholicism, ie: they are estranged.

I am not totally convinced of the merits of the item referenced as (1) with regard to her status as the word "former" is arguably ambiguous, particularly in tabloid journalese. The WP entry for Aspel lists him as co-habiting with the third party named in the reference, but not divorced from Power.

There is no evidence that Lizzie and Michael have divorced, I have changed "former wife" to "estranged wife" to reflect the fact that they are legally seperated but still married. Caesar's Daddy (talk) 09:23, 12 September 2012 (UTC)

Companies House says 26/2/47, which is backed up by the BMD. So unsure why we are going with 1941, which is unsourced. I'll remove it. Crisso (talk) 15:13, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
