In looking at this page, it needs to seen in conjunction with the page Robert the Bruce where Elizabeth Bruce is wrongly shown as one of his illegitimate children. For nearly two hundred and fifty years, she has been labelled illegitimate. This page serves to correct history by showing that, by the parameters set by Sir David Dalrymple, the evidence meets his standards and that Elizabeth Bruce is legitimate. This is "ground breaking" but no scholar would believe her legitimacy until the evidence in this page is lain before them.
