At the moment the article says that her father was David Beaton of Creich.

But both ThePeerage and WikiTree websites have her father as Sir John Bethune, 2nd of Creich (Q75330614) and Janet Hay (Q75585224) -- with the daughter of David Beaton being a different Elizabeth Bethune (Q5362419), who married {Q|75237485}}.
