Enlarged entry

[edit]

The enntry for Elementis, which was Harrisons & Crosfield for most of its history, is very brief and I propose to substantially increase it, using the Company History and Companies House accounts as primary sources. The enlargement will necessitate the replacement of some of the existing brief paragraphs. I hope there is no objection.Bebington (talk) 09:54, 30 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Fine with me. I am sure you can incorporate the existing properly sourced facts, both on the historic plantations business and the chemicals business, into the enhanced narrative that you are proposing. Best wishes. Dormskirk (talk) 10:20, 30 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for sorting that out - I was just coming back to have a look and see if I could make sense of my mistakes.
I think this was the most complicated entry I have ever done. There were so many different quoted plantation companies, many with records lodged in the archives and with filles still extant at Companies House. And then all the different activities!Bebington (talk) 19:01, 1 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
It looks pretty good to me. Well done! Dormskirk (talk) 19:38, 1 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
