Possible AI use
[edit]Flagged possible AI text here, details since v1, note WP:AISIGNS here and in user's other edits over past year. e.g. AIVOCAB, superficial analyses etc Gnomingstuff (talk) 02:44, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for this (and the educating me on this on the other talkpages). Content is now cleaned, crosschecked, and updated. I have removed the tag from June, in goodfaith. Feel free to let me know if you have any further concerns. Cheers, Rehman
- There is no allowance for "AI-generated text is okay if someone checks it". The WP:NOLLM guideline means that no AI-generated text is allowed, period. If you want to remove the tag, the generated text needs to be removed in full, for rxample by stubifying the article or turning it into a redirect (if a suitable target exists). Bringing it to AfD is also an option. While I appreciate that you seem to have learned from this and stopped using AI for Wikipedia, I have restored the tag because it accuratelt describes what a reader is about to read. ‑‑gurkubondinn 11:16, 3 August 2026 (UTC)
- User:Gurkubondinn, for this article the core text and structure was not AI-generated. It was only passed through AI for basic cross checking with publicly available facts and minor grammar/wording. As you can see its just a stub with a couple of sentences per heading. Ok for tag removal? Rehman 05:10, 4 August 2026 (UTC)
- No, not ok for tag removal. That is not allowed by the WP:NOLLM guideline, and you should stop doing this on Wikipedia. The tag is accurate and should remain, we owe it to our readers to let them know that they are about to read some LLM-generated text.
- Please stop using AI on Wikipedia. I'm worried that you will get blocked if you continue. ‑‑gurkubondinn 09:34, 4 August 2026 (UTC)
- Noted. As I mentioned elsewhere, this area is new to me. Let me redo the article when I get some free time in the next few days. Cheers, Rehman 04:11, 5 August 2026 (UTC)
