Under section "Ethical concerns and divestment", in the last paragraph, it reads:

"In 2025, following a sustained campaign of direct action by groups, including Palestine Action, which targeted their offices with protests and occupations, both Allianz and Aviva terminated their insurance contracts with Elbit's UK subsidiaries. Allianz ended its coverage of Elbit Systems UK, while Aviva ceased insuring UAV Engines.[40][41][42] Palestine Action were also arrested after demonstrating at the Elbit plant in Ulm, Germany. The protestors, who have been in pre-trial detention since September 2025, maintain that their goal was to highlight the complicity of Elbit Systems in the killing of Gazan civilians. The lawyer of the 'Ulm 5' has called for the immediate release of the activists and an investigation into the close involvement of Elbit in war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide in Gaza.[43]"

The perpetrators who committed the break-in to the Elbit facility in the UK are not protestors, but are criminal who broke-in to private property and nearly killed a police officer, and they are charged, convicted and recognized by the UK government as terrorists.

Clearer separation of organisation/history and controversies / protest

The current article mixes together descriptions of operations in each country with descriptions of protest activity in each country. I think the article would benefit from a cleaner structure with "Organisation", "International Operations" and "Controversies and Protest Activity" as separate sections. Happy to take a crack at reorganising it along these lines - I think it will significantly improve readability Alfiechidzik (talk) 10:49, 8 August 2026 (UTC)

I've taken a first go at reorganising the sections to make the distinction between "History", "Current activities" and Issues / Controversies / Protest much clearer. There is still more work to be done to clean this article up, but it's a start. I hope you agree that it's an improvement Alfiechidzik (talk) 08:13, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

Separating "International Operations" from Selected International Activities

At the moment the two are mixed up with histories of countries where Elbit has actual operations and subsidiaries alongside other countries where it's simply a contract.

Propose that we have an "International Operations" section after History, and then later have a "Selected International Activities" section focused on publicy reported international contracts Alfiechidzik (talk) 08:49, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
