Temporary Closure of the El Monte Busway

[edit]

I stumbled upon a service advisory - http://www.metro.net/around/service-advisories/closure-el-monte-busway/ - which states that as of 1/14/2010 the El Monte Busway will be closed temporarily for about six months between Alameda Street in Downtown Los Angeles and the 710 Freeway late night and weekends. This affects no less than three major transit lines that service Downtown Los Angeles.
