In fact, far from being a city, Ehl is today no more than a lieu-dit (a locality with a recognized name but insufficiently important to be a municipality in its own right).
However, it is -- as the site of the important Gallo-Roman centre of Ellelum (a.k.a. Hellelum / Helvetum, etc.) -- a place of note, in my view. Am therefore currently investigating sources with a view to expanding the article. -- Picapica (talk) 00:10, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
