Format of years lived in the lead

[edit]

Is "1750-1754–1804" formatted correctly? It looks like it could throw some readers off. Perhaps use "1750/4–1804" instead? Or something else? Stevie is the man! Talk • Work 20:46, 10 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Reliable sources?

[edit]

I have a correction to be made for Captain Edward Worthington's page. I have several sources, but do not know if they will meet Wikipedia's standards of valid sources. I know Findagrave.com is not valid, but would the D.A.R. be a valid one. I have a second source of National Archives of Historical Places website. Would this be valid? Thirdly, I have a link to the Christian County, Kentucky historical records through FamilySearch.org. Would this be valid? Thank you for your advice. Camworth (talk) 15:48, 19 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
