Should this article be removed? Or merged with Edgio?

[edit]

As Ryanb-I-am pointed out on the CDN Talk page, Edgecast was purchased by Limelight Networks in 2022, and Limelight rebranded as Edgio. Given that the Edgecast website is gone and the brand is also gone, should we keep this article for historical purposes? Or should it be merged into theEdgio article? - Dyork (talk) 21:50, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

I think it's worth keeping. It was a notable company for its existence as a separate entity and as a subsidiary, and there are many other now defunct companies that have Wiki pages of their own. I think the history is important enough in its own right that would be just clutter on the Edgio page. RandyKaelber (talk) 23:19, 11 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
