Yes, I believe this article and the article on Core Data Integration should be merged into the main Data Integration article. They provide valuable information on Data Integration strategies commonly used, but they are essentially just sub-topics of the main topic of Data Integration.

I have worked in the data integration field for the last 10 years as a technical writer, trainer, integration software engineer, and consultant.
