Edge and EDGE

[edit]

Both of these are just disambiguation pages and can easily be merged together. TJ Spyke 20:28, 30 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Done. There was virtually nothing there.--Adoniscik (talk) 07:49, 15 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Acronyms

[edit]

It might also be helpful to have a separate section for acronyms. It took me a really long time to find what the acronym EDGE meant (in telecommunications). 90.28.249.240 (talk) 14:01, 16 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

The difficulty can be in accomodating both people who know they're looking for an acronym but don't know the subject matter, and people who know the subject but may not know that the term they are interested in is an acronym. I've reorganized things a bit to create an acronym subheading under the section Mathematics, science and technology. Is that more helpful than before? --ShelfSkewed Talk 16:25, 16 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
