One of the "few"?

[edit]

The one sentence in the Recognition section with no citation reads "Ross was one of the few tintype photographers in the world." which is, well, debateable, subjective. Arguably untrue. According to the timeline suggested in the article, Ross worked in tintypes from about 2008 to about 2016, a time when there has been a virtual explosion in various wet plate processes. This appears to be "puffery" (of a mild sort) and part of the ongoing campaign of user tjf5280 to promote an apparently random collection of relatively little known wet plate photographers on wikipedia. While this article may pass muster for inclusion, surely we can keep it factual? Amolitor99 (talk) 21:15, 9 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
