Hold

[edit]

Early life section (hold for now): Ed Neal was born on December 31, 1918, in Wichita Falls, Texas; Neal's father was Irish, while his mother was Cherokee. Neal attended Reagan Junior High School and Wichita Falls High School in Wichita Falls, playing football at both schools. In high school, he was a two-way player, serving as the team's fullback of offense and while also playing defensive tackle. His high school team won the state quarterfinals, a game where he completed a 78 yard touchdown pass. After graduating from high school in 1937, Neal attended three colleges: Ouachita, Tulane and LSU; he played college football at all three. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 18:00, 14 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
