Licensing?

[edit]

Since Cuba is one of the few remaining Communist countries in the world, it might be interesting to state what license (CC-BY-SA 3.0?) is being used for the content of EcuRed. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 21:12, 20 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 --Error (talk) 16:23, 9 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
Reading again, I am not so sure:
They are allowing the import of CC BY-NC-SA 3.0, but they don't make it explicit what the license is for taking content from EcuRed.

File:Printscreen EcuRed.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

[edit]
An image used in this article, File:Printscreen EcuRed.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

To take part in any discussion, or to review a more detailed deletion rationale please visit the relevant image page (File:Printscreen EcuRed.jpg)

This is Bot placed notification, another user has nominated/tagged the image --CommonsNotificationBot (talk) 01:11, 17 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Updating

[edit]

I feel like this article should be updated. It's short, and Fidel isn't alive anymore. NotFromMarkkleeberg (talk) 20:34, 30 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

I agree. In addition, there are typos and one of the quotes is used twice - with only two sections in the article, that’s excessive. Also, the overall framing and sources cited are suspect. It’s quite transparently written by a “gusano” or someone with a clear bias towards neoliberalism. Ahuacaxochitl (talk) 18:02, 10 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
