Coach class

Probably because the seating conditions are comparable to a coach - ie cramped but cheap. 86.11.124.189 09:10, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

That's what americans call it. Have to have a different word for everything, don't they!

"Cattle class" is another (possibly regional, definitely slang) nickname for economy class. Might or might not be worth including. I recommend that you add a link to your current article on the "vertical seat", as used in passenger airplanes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vertical_seat This concept as also known as the "standing seat", or "perch seat".
