[edit]More significantly, it appears to me that eco-efficiency is a buzzword that hints at ecological efficiency while being significantly younger (it even says so itself) and maybe slightly more aimed at economists and (other) non-scientists. -- Kku 17:30, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
I think this merge would be inappropriate. Ecological efficiency is a term used in ecology to describe the conversion of energy and materials between trophic levels. Eco-efficiency is a (perhaps somewhat buzzword) term used to describe the economic efficiency with which human society uses natural resources. I would say these are two distinct concepts and deserve their own, separate articles. Kyle MoJo (talk) 13:10, 28 February 2017 (UTC)

Define "non-predatory death"
[edit]It is unclear how energy is lost in non-predatory death that would not also be lost in predatory death. I'm sure there is a good explanation for this but as a reader without any prior knowledge of the topic I am left wanting here.Journo451 (talk) 01:24, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
