Hi Chlod. Will review this. Vacant0 (talk contribs) 12:40, 4 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Okay... first checking the previous GA review. It seems like the nomination failed because the development section was not developed enough. It seems like it's been expanded since then so I'll proceed with the review. Vacant0 (talk contribs) 17:56, 4 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

[edit]
  • The lede could be expanded a bit, to include information about the game's development. It reads well as of now, but I'll check it again once you expand it a bit.
  • Explain what low poly models are. A general reader will not understand that term.
  • The rest of the gameplay section reads well.
  • "who had shut down" Seb shut down? How is this possible? I'm left confused by the second paragraph.
  • Notes should end with references.
  • What is Blockbench?
  • "Real photographs" real seems redundant to me.
  • Engine and platform in the infobox seem to be unsourced.
  • Images have appropriate rationales.
  • All sources are reliable - there are three primary sources.
  • Before spotchecking, I'd like to ask you to add timestamps to the video sources, as this is required for verifiability. When we cite books, we also need to cite pages inside the books. Same goes for videos. Use the {{rp}} template.

The article is short but in good shape now. These minor issues will make the article look better. I'll perform a spotcheck once these issues get resolved. Cheers, Vacant0 (talk contribs) 18:24, 4 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi, @Vacant0! Great to see you at GAN again. I've resolved/cleaned up most of the comments mentioned here, with some additional notes/exceptions:
  • The lede could be expanded a bit, to include information about the game's development. I've added a bit more to the lead, trying to summarize the development section without just rehashing it.
  • Explain what low poly models are. A general reader will not understand that term. I was hoping that a wikilink to the relevant article would be enough, but I added some extra explaining on the end result of low-poly graphics, rather than a technical explanation. Surely a reader wouldn't need to know what a "polygon budget" is.
  • "who had shut down" Seb shut down? How is this possible? I'm left confused by the second paragraph. Understanding this requires implied lore which I thought would be too much of WP:OR to be allowed here. It's implied that all characters in the game, including delivery drivers, are (remotely-controlled?) robots controlled by the game's titular corporation, easyCo. The game also makes this part very vague. Some very limited quoting here for context, MK says "Seb and I were good friends... Seb ultimately gave up their job to be with me. After Seb shut down, all I wanted was to join them." A lot more context can be gleaned from the game's ending dialogue, narrated entirely by MK. I'm assuming that the vagueness of the dialogue is intentional due to how this is kinda a mystery game, but I'm quite unsure how else to word this without including either a theory or implied fact that would run afoul of OR. I could write "died", but that's also a reach.
  • What is Blockbench? There's not a lot of good (non-primary) sources on Blockbench (which currently isn't notable, unfortunately), so I've described Blockbench with how Cameron described it as in the interview.
  • Engine and platform in the infobox seem to be unsourced. These were both in press releases and in interviews. I've mentioned them specifically in the prose so that they can be associated with a reference; I try to avoid placing references in infoboxes unless necessary.
  • Before spotchecking, I'd like to ask you to add timestamps to the video sources Added the timestamps; hope they're sufficient. Some of these don't have end timestamps (as it would make the references uncomfortably long, especially on mobile), but you can assume that the information being cited usually comes at most 30 seconds after the timestamp indicated.
And an additional note: credits in the infobox are from the game itself, just like in Until Then. Chlod (say hi!) 07:28, 7 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! Looks much better now. Vacant0 (talk contribs) 12:01, 7 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

It uses low-polygon 3D models, giving objects and characters a blocky appearance, and a pixelization filter to emulate the aesthetic of PlayStation 1 games.

After finishing his capstone project in his final year for a game development course at Sheridan College, Sam Cameron
2etheverge.comweb.archive.org FailOnly mentions his full name.
Cameron originally intended the game to be smaller, only including Mountain Town along with some on-foot exploration and a narrative mystery.

The full release added new towns, changed progression from items to vehicle upgrades, and removed the map marker. Cameron removed the marker as it had prevented players from learning the roads, which took away from the game's experience.

Early reviews appreciated the game's PlayStation 1 aesthetic, including Cichacki and Oisin Kuhnke for Rock Paper Shotgun, who writes that it "can obviously feel a bit overdone in some cases now, but Easy Delivery Co. just looks right, a bit dreary, a bit lonely even, yet with a hint of goofiness about it".

Hi @Chlod:. Only one issue remaining. I'll promote the article once it is addressed. Cheers, Vacant0 (talk contribs) 12:10, 7 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Vacant0: Whoops, that one's a formatting error. [2] only supports the name; it's [4] and [10] which mention the capstone project and his college. I'd copy [4] and [10] before [2], but that'd make this sentence extremely long given the timestamps on it, so I just moved [2] to the end of the sentence.
