EasyJet 6074

[edit]

This incident was a pretty significant one, involving a near-catastrophic electrical fault and near midair collision. But I was wondering if it warrants its own article or is this fine enough?

While this was a "serious incident" that could indeed have been catastrophic, I don't believe this meets the significant coverage criterion of the general notability guideline. The current mentions in this article and in List of accidents and incidents involving the Airbus A320 family are sufficient. Rosbif73 (talk) 08:37, 26 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Alright thank you for clarifying, have a nice day. KrystalInfernus (talk) 17:22, 27 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Fleet Images

[edit]

The Airbus A319 image needs to be updated to the new easyJet livery as it is about the current fleet, not past fleet and old liveries. A320-200 is missing from the fleet images. I got a message saying my photos were of poor quality, then add new ones and in better quality not remove one and the other is outdated wearing an old livery. Operating bases

[edit]

Someone has recently added Southampton International Airport, yet Southampton Airport isn't an EasyJet base. Thefullenchilada (talk) 14:42, 13 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

EasyJet Holidays

[edit]

The latest financials H1 FY25 show EasyJet Holidays as a subsidiary with significant and growing importance to EasyJet PLC. Has EasyJet PLC diverged from being just an airline, is it more accurately described as an airline and package holiday provider/tour operator? I have made a change and would appreciate review. Does EasyJet Holidays warrant its own subsidiary page? It's the only subsidiary without one, or am I just being OCD? I have previously tried but to be honest it just wasn't good enough. It could do with a more experienced editor if it's a viable page at all. Jlbedits (talk) 15:56, 4 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

A stub page has been created for EasyJet Holidays but marked for speedy deletion on the basis of lack of importance. Is anyone else of the opinion that this page is warranted?Jlbedits (talk) 16:14, 18 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Castlelake

[edit]

There seems to be some confusion over Castlelake. The company is not considering anything. Castlelake is considering a takeover bid for EasyJet. Dormskirk (talk) 20:36, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

The article now says "it was reported that EasyJet is progressing through the possibility of being taken over by another entity". That is not what the source cited says. All that is happening is that Castlelake is considering a takeover bid for EasyJet. Let's keep to the facts rather than suggesting that EasyJet is doing something that is more complicated than reality. Dormskirk (talk) 22:47, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
