[edit]When did Cambridge switch from 200V to 240V power? I think it was one of the last places in the country to align with the national standard. I have found a reference suggesting that it was still 200V in 1962 (and I who was born in 1955 can remember the changeover, so that accords with my memory), and another suggesting that it may have been as late as the 1970s. Anyone got chapter and verse? Kim SJ 08:09, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
I was at Cambridge University from 1966 to May 1969 and I am pretty sure it was still 200 volts then with no mention of any change pending. Budhen (talk) 17:44, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
Redirects
[edit]The page for txu energi was originally redirected to the Energy Group, which was a Hanson holding company and not really correct, as TXU followed Eastern. I redirected the Energy Group page here to as it only existed for 2 years as a separate entity and all the data was here anyway.Davidstewartharvey (talk) 16:57, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
