Date and Controversy

[edit]

The article is lacking the date when these garbage earrings were invented. Can someone write about the controversy? They're cheap and useless: earrings are supposed to FASTEN at back but they do not! Guess what happens? You lose them! And since the 2000's, when these cheapo "wires" have been masquerading as earrings, no one seems to be selling REAL earrings anymore! (Good luck finding any.) These are worse than clip-ons: you lose them more easily and they poke your neck at back (and shoulders when laying down) depending on how long the wire is behind you.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.178.137.210 (talk) 10:41, 11 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
