AMK152's Geotimeboxes

[edit]

AMK152 proposed in edits of 27 December 2006 a geotimebox for this article. I feel that the box information that is appropriate for the article is already contained in the footer, and that other information can be supplied where important, by links from the text. See discussion at Template talk:Geotimebox. --Bejnar 20:31, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Lias

[edit]

One problem with a focus on the British lower Jurassic ie the Lias, is that the article does not then present a balanced global view on the topic of the article title. cheers Geopersona (talk) 20:07, 17 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Rating vs. warning

[edit]

How can it be that a B-class article merits a dire warning label at the top? One of these things is unmerited.

Re: Geopersona's comment from more than a decade ago, I came here looking for lias because a source used the word (around 1900) as the name of a kind of local stone in England. So while "early Jurassic" is a global topic, it may be fair to say that lias has a more tightly defined scope. Cynwolfe (talk) 17:12, 7 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
