[edit]The current page name, EIF3EIP, is an outdated gene symbol. It's less specific the current gene symbol, EIF3L, and only gets ~60 hits on google scholar compared to ~1600. The recommended uniprot protein name, "Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit L", is much too long, so the options are the uniprot short name "eIF3l", or the gene symbol: "EIF3L". I suppose either is more or less the same, so I'll just use the gene symbol to avoid capitalization weirdness Pabnau (talk) 20:20, 27 August 2026 (UTC)
