Sections 'Cultural connections' and 'Ecological connections'

@Tom Radulovich: I see the subject sections as being quite useless in a page that deals with a genus - we can see that the information contained within both sections apply to selected species, thus they are far more useful in the pages of the child taxa. I'm proposing to delete both sections and where possible add the content in the relevant species' pages. What is your view?

Also, I'm preparing to rewrite the 'Species' section as 'Taxonomy', and make 'Species' a sub-heading for the list.  Junglenut |Talk  10:38, 17 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

I agree - most of the species mentioned are no longer in this genus, so it's just confusing to keep that content here. The section about how many species are native to which regions is now inaccurate; we should either be revise or delete it. Tom Radulovich (talk) 16:33, 17 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
