Divide the main library page
[edit]A large part of the content on the general library (computer science) page on dynamic linking and should probably be pulled out into two separate articles.
- A general article on dynamic libraries and implemenations
- An article on the concept of dynamic linking, its history, etc.
Other considerations:
- The concepts of dynamic linking and shared libraries are independent. There are implementation of dynamic libraries that are not shared, and vice versa.
- There should probably be separate articles that go into detail about each shared library implemenation.
