[edit]To all deletionists: This is not a finished page, yet. Either help out expanding it or give it some time to grow.
I translated a couple of things from the German page de:Sandbad. Quality wise that one's not entirely usable as is, so improvements will be needed. If you'd like to contribute, please do. Images seem to be easier to find than text.

Proposed Move of article
[edit]This article is really about the behaviour of dustbathing rather than an article about dust baths per se. As a consequence, the opening sentence is actually nonesense and the article a little disjointed. I propose that the article be renamed/moved to an article entitled Dustbathing. This would also make it mor consistent with its 'sister' page Sham dustbathing. DrChrissy (talk) 18:08, 31 July 2012 (UTC)

Unreliable reference
[edit]The reference given to support the statement about indigenous humans using dustbaths rather than water baths (i.e. 5.^ The sing-song of old man kangaroo) appears to be a short story/song/poem. As such, it is a work of fiction. Even reading the article does not make it clear whether the bath contains water and is surrounded by salt pans, or whether the bath contains dust. A more reliable source needs to be provided.DrChrissy (talk) 19:10, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
