Synthesis of compounds
[edit]In the description part it is stated that “Both compounds can be obtained from the corresponding chiral diol through conversion to the cyclic sulfate and reaction with lithiated phenylbisphosphine.” To me this phrase does not make sence in relation to the DuPhos compounds. Reaction of a lithiated phenylbisphophine with an alcohol I can understand in the synthesis of this compound, but why a diol?T.vanschaik (talk) 10:04, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
