The first paragraph is pure conjecture and statement of opinion. No citations are provided, and the statements (which is often a milder, non-immune-mediated reaction) are misleading and misinformed. You can drop dead from non-immune mediated drug reactions.
The term "intolerance" is ambiguous. Its meaning is that you cannot tolerate something. This is most certainly the case with serious allergic reactions.
