This is also known as a "drop" ceiling.

Page name move?
[edit]Some quick googling reveals 69,200 results for "dropped ceilings" and 1.01 million for "suspended ceilings." Obviously some of the results will be irrelevant, but the sheer difference suggests that the latter is vastly more common than the former. Should we change the page name? Stretch ceiling: redirect or move to its own article?
[edit]The "Stretch ceiling" section starts with saying it's not a dropped ceiling, but this appears to be its only Wikipedia entry. I propose it should either have its own article, or at least a redirect page to this section. Conkaan (talk) 21:35, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
