Update CEO information following April 2026 leadership transition
[edit]Hello. I am an employee of DroneShield and have disclosed my affiliation on my user page. I am therefore requesting this change rather than editing the article directly.
The History section currently states that Oleg Vornik “serves as the company's chief executive officer.” This is no longer current. Angus Bean was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director effective 8 April 2026, succeeding Oleg Vornik.
Current text: “Oleg Vornik serves as the company's chief executive officer, having joined in 2015.”
Suggested replacement: “Oleg Vornik joined DroneShield in 2015 and later served as chief executive officer. In April 2026, Angus Bean succeeded Vornik as chief executive officer and managing director.”
Independent source: Australian Defence Magazine, “DroneShield changes leadership,” 8 April 2026.
Company announcement confirming the effective date is also available from DroneShield's 8 April 2026 leadership transition announcement.
Thank you for reviewing this request. EGMeditor (talk) 19:59, 8 September 2026 (UTC)
