The summary of this page at Die (manufacturing)#Wire_pulling looks like it has more info that should be incorporated into this page. Also, should this page be merged into Wire drawing? Vulturejoe (talk) 03:55, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- I wouldn't oppose a merger of content to Die (manufacturing) and Wire drawing. In my experience, the tool is called a die more often than a drawing plate anyway... Iepeulas (talk) 04:17, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
I'm a jeweler just passing through the topic - don't want to edit, as it looks at least pretty good. I'd say some merger is in order, for sure, though. I'd say leave wire drawing, redirect drawplate to that, and leave the paragraph in dies with the main article link. Wire drawing and drawplate are redundant. Jjdon (talk) 23:01, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
