It's The Chip Designer not The Chips

- I'm this repair tech, as you know. I was pretty sad when CEM and SSM chips was deleted in 2022. The AfD is here, and I did my best to recover it to no avail. As an admin, I can recover this plus its history, to draft space, but it would need major rework to become something other than "list of ....". There's a ton of history around Curtis Electromusic and SSM (see Solid State Micro Technology for Music), so maybe we could make something of it as an encyclopaedic article? Thoughts? I also feel that Doug Curtis and indeed, Jim Burgoon, should be remembered before that history of early electronic music goes down the memory hole. I think Tom Rhea's new book might be a good WP:RS to help us out there - Alison talk 23:31, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
