"Deregulation" is another example.
[edit]The process of "De-regulation" gives the impression it's cutting back of government bureaucracy to transform a monopoly open. But in actually it's drafting more laws which gives all entities a more guided rule book on how they all must operate when a market is 'opened up'. The process is actually introducing an increase of regulations rather than less to an outsider looking in. CaribDigita (talk) 14:18, 10 July 2026 (UTC)
