Redirect Docynia to Malus
[edit]A recent 2023 phylogenomic study has concluded that the existing 3 Docynia species, D. indica, D. delavayi, & D. longiunguis, are closely related to Malus and have been formally placed in Malus and renamed to Malus indica, Malus delavayi, & Malus longiunguis, respectively. I propose we should redirect Docynia to Malus and update the list of Malus species. Ultron90 (talk) 06:32, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
