Popularity with adults (citation needed)

Terry Jones discussed this in a bonus documentary on the At Last the 1948 Show dvd set, discussing how the members of Monty Python became aware of each other and started performing together. I believe he had a statement like, "Adults were leaving work early around the country, in order to get home in time for the DNAYS 4 PM airing." John Cleese has said a similar thing in interviews. But the Terry Jones interview that does mention the above phenomenon , is the one included on the DVD set. Bob Kerr's Whoopie Band ?

Is there a source for this? In the history of Python related interviews , I've only heard of The Bonzos being associated with the show. It's true , several member of the Bonzos , after they broke up , wound up playing with Bob Kerr. It's also true Bob Kerr was a Bonzo , pre-DNAYS. But , neither of those configurations happened during DNAYS. Is there an unknown reference or is this guess work? 75.104.174.20 (talk) 15:39, 10 June 2015 (UTC)

Third Season

Apparently there was a third season of this thing, but because the Pythons weren't in on it, Denise Coffey and David Jason did the only routine that they were known for without the Pythons in it, and the show was re-titled "Captain Fantastic and Mrs. Black".
