[edit]I think that the default page for "Distribution function" should be the probability page Cumulative distribution function. Agi 90 (talk) 13:46, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
disambig
[edit]This page really ought to disambiguate distribution functions and not be specific to the physics of particle gases. A lot of the articles linking to this page have in mind more general distribution functions than f(x,y,z,px,py,pz,t) -- some as a function of energy, some as a function of wealth, ....
Something like:
- Distribution function (kinetic theory)
- Frequency distribution
- Probability density function
- Cumulative distribution function
