Reading method?
[edit]I suggest that the sentence "In the article, Moretti proposed a mode of reading..." be replaced by "In the article, Moretti proposed a mode of analysing texts...", because he argues that reading is not an appropriate way of producing knowledge in literary history. He even states that the notion of "distant reading" actually was a joke: it's not reading anymore.
I think that this change could make this article easier to be understand by non-specialists. Pomlipou (talk) 12:41, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
