Why do we need separate pages for film director, television director, theatre director, and choral director? Anthony DiPierro 14:45, 13 Mar 2004 (UTC)

All these types of Director are very different people who have different jobs. The film director is a visual artist, whereas the television merely pulls the show together as is the theatre director (or stage director). A choral director is no such thing. He is a conductor. I would propose that we merge film director, television director and theatre director, they are similar enough to be in one single article. Choral director should be its own article. --Pax:Vobiscum 11:11, 17 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
