Need for caution
[edit]The structure of Dimmeys ownership, involving Cool Breeze, Range Works, the Zappeli family, Starite and possibly other entities, means that working out where the business is at and going to be is complex; editors should be careful to use WP:RS, and cite them properly. I have left a (regrettably open) sentence/paragraph at the end of the Decline section, but although there are clearly Dimmeys stores still trading, I can't find suitable sources to describe the current situation. I'll tag it for both ref and clarification, but I can't see a clear way to progress this. The Dimmeys web site is clearly NOT a suitable source of independent info, simply by nature of it being published by the subject of the article.
I'll also remind editors that WP is not a newspaper, and doesn't need to keep providing up-to-the-moment updates. Nor is it a vehicle for promotional material, which will be promptly removed. Wayne 14:30, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
