You say that the digital delay line 'is a discrete element in digital filter theory'. It seems that it is only a theoretical signal processing element, without any connection to real applications. Nevertheless, at the end of your article you have a paragraph ('Commercial history') where It is evident that some applications are in use. It is true that it is virtually non-existant standalone as application, but always as a component to some other more complex scheme. So, theoretically, being a mainly theoretical element is true. Finding good sources that explicitly mention this type of delay lines as component in current commercial products could be a good future addition! Magiwanders (talk) 14:54, 7 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

The article conveys the message. However, I have the feeling that it is oriented only to somehow expert readers. I am sure that the Theory paragraph is needed as it is, but it might be useful to expand the practical application side, to make it more accessible to a larger audience. That section is the original article, I added the theory, which is arguably something that you encounter only if you study it as engineer, never from the other side, that of musicians. So yes, it absolutely makes sense that there should be a thorough research on the products currently on the market implementing it, it would make the topic more accessible.
