The Example cited for 'motion sensing' as an application of a beam splitter is not quite correct. Kinect v1 does use such a diffractive beam splitter, but Kinect v2 does NOT at all.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.255.30.145 (talk) 18:11, 24 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Is this the same as a Diffractive Optical Element or DOE? If so, I think the article should include that phrasing. WilliamKF (talk) 21:51, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Reply
