Pronunciation

According to the two leading German pronunciation dictionaries (Duden Aussprachewörterbuch and Deutsches Aussprachewörterbuch), the oe in Bonhoeffer is not a long, close [øː], but a short, open [œ]. The double f that follows also supports this pronunciation. Hence, both the IPA transcription and the sound file would be incorrect. Schneid9 (talk) 20:43, 10 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
