[edit]

"Dandu Monara" already redirects to a section of the Vimana page, which is itself titled දඬුමොණරය (Da'ndu Monaraya) in the Sinhala wiki. The Dandu Monara ("Wooden(?) Peacock") in Sri Lankan accounts of the Ramayana is widely equated with the Pushpaka Vimana ("Flowery Chariot") in the traditional version, hence the redirect. As a result, we have two separate articles allegedly referring to the same thing. However, the "Wooden Peacock" is very unique to the Sri Lankan interpretation, hence I believe it warrants its own page. To clear confusion, the redirect on Vimana should be removed, though links can exist between each other to illustrate the connection. Syphrose (talk) 07:16, 8 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
