– There is a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for "New Orleans", so the double disambiguation is unnecessary. — BarrelProof (talk) 17:37, 29 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Comment: Why the Wikipedia neologism parenthetical phrase? Why not just standard US designation eg "Audubon Place, New Orleans". -- Infrogmation (talk) 19:42, 29 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
I didn't find explicit instructions in guidelines about that. I think that question only affects two of these – Parkview and Audobon Place. — BarrelProof (talk) 19:50, 29 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
I actually think using the "comma style" could be used for any of these - but I think the US highway is certainly better with parentheses. I think either would be fine for all the others. ~2026-46623-92 (talk) 20:03, 29 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
I don't think I've ever seen the comma style used for buildings or institutions – and especially not for those in the United States. — BarrelProof (talk) 20:11, 29 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
"Audubon Place, New Orleans" would be the format used for populated places and locales. Please see WP:USPLACE. I see no issue with using the parentheses as they would be consistent with other American roads, which almost always use parentheses for disambiguation purposes. – Epicgenius (talk) 16:39, 30 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
