I change up most of the article to better reflect what development anthropology is. I studied the subject a lot, so I also remove the "expert needed" tag. The applied anthropology section needs major changes. I'm not quite satisfied with the way it is right now. Although it is seperated in the main body of the text, the introduction seems to confuse 'development anthropology' with 'anthropology of development', the former being applied social science and the second being a subfield of anthropology with development as the object of study. Both kinds of anthropology is presented in the intro. Furthermore, anthropology of development is labelled 'development criticism'. While it is true that a LOT of anthropology of development is critical of the development sector, it is not intrinsic to anthropology of development to be primarily negative towards development projects. There are also many other critiques of development than just Escobar's (which in turn, is more oriented towards Foucault and Said rather than the neo-marxist dependency theory.
