Game Engine.

Is Destiny Rising even in the same engine as Destiny 2? Have they mentioned that? 177.93.3.55 (talk) 06:34, 4 September 2025 (UTC)

Sadly, I’ve not seen any confirmation yet. Seems plausible that it’s a NetEase engine, given that they’re the ones doing the development. Hopefully a reliable source will confirm at some stage. IAmTheNeil (talk) 08:43, 4 September 2025 (UTC)

Page grammar discussion

I know it was said that the quotes (as well as presumably the brackets and multiple periods in sequence which are also restored) were intentional and so I won't attempt to change it again, but I have to ask why? Is this some formatting issue, or something else I'm not realizing? For example in regard to the periods, the original quote in the article by Paul Tassi has no such error, so it can't be a simple case of maintaining the quotation as it is. Great question.

I won’t pretend to be familiar with Wikipedia standards specifically (and am happy to learn), but my understanding is that when changing a quote in some minor way, (such as changing “D2” to “Destiny 2”, for example), it should be given [square brackets] to make that edit known. Similarly, I was taught that if omitting parts of a quotation, there should be ‘…’ in between to make that clear.

However, I may be over-pedantic and not aligned to Wikipedia standards, so your input is more than welcome. IAmTheNeil (talk) 17:18, 9 September 2025 (UTC)

Not worldwide

"Destiny: Rising will be available worldwide on iOS, with the exception of a few regions such as Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Armenia, China, Hong Kong, India, Macau, and Taiwan. Destiny 2 now features racing.

With Destiny 2's final update "Monument of Triumph", vehicle racing ("Sparrow Racing League") has been added to the game. Any reference to Destiny 2 not having racing should be removed from this article. ~2026-36109-44 (talk) 01:23, 22 June 2026 (UTC)
