Crossroads duration - conflict with another article

The partial filmorgaphy section gives his dates of appearing in Crossroads as Timothy Hunter as 1972–1973. However the article List of Crossroads characters states he appeared between 1971 and 1978. IMDb would suggest 1972-1973, but does not have all (or indeed most!) episodes of Crossroads listed so is not 100% reliable for start and end dates. I am sure the character had more than one spell in the series, so these might be the dates he was a regular (and I am not sure that another actor did not also play the part).
